iCatSignage is the web-based digital signage application (SaaS) for use with Mvix Ceeno Networkable Signage system. “command central” for your Digital Signage network. This online software interacts with the pre-configured, Mvix Ceeno digital signage player remotely over the network to manage playback. The iCatSignage platform is used for storing media files, scheduling campaigns and distributing uploaded media to individual signage systems across the network.

iCatSignage eliminates the need for installing any software. It is compatible with Mac OSX, Windows and Linux. It allows access to the entire signage network from any standard web-based browser.

This web-based software, often referred to as SAAS (“software as a service”) provides an easy-to-use application to manage and run a digital signage content from ANYWHERE.

Media Library: An Online Repository

iCatSignage offers an online storage of your digital media content. Easily deploy slide-shows and videos to the display network using the simple, media upload tool. Upload any number of images, music and video files in the media library. No bandwidth limitation.

iCatSignage also offers the flexibility of deploying media directly from an external server. Simply add the URL or FTP server address containing the media file(s) to your account, iCatSignage will access those media content remotely and make it available for remote deployment to the signage players.

RSS / Text Ticker: A Scrolling Marquee

iCatSignage is not only a perfect digital signage CMS for full-screen looping videos and slide-shows, it also allows the capability of displaying a scrolling ticker of text at the bottom of the screen. This text ticker can be manually typed or fed-in remotely as a RSS URL. For example, you can use a pre-published RSS feed of from Weather.com, CNN Sports News or World News from BBC as a marquee scroll.

RSS Feed or Text Ticker can be set to auto-update and acquire fresh content every 15 / 30 or 60 minutes.

Schedule Media on Devices: Dayparting

iCatSignage’s easy-to-use scheduler, allows you to play your content at any time of the day or night. For example, you can even choose to play some media on weekdays, and others on weekends. Dayparting schedules can be defined down to one-minute increments with start/end dates.

An intuitive calendar-view makes signage network scheduling simple and fun. This intuitive interface enables quick assessment of schedule coverage and conflicts. Schedules can be assigned to individual signage players or as a group. Signage network schedules can be configured for any number of weeks and months in advance.

Reporting: Track, Monitor and Prove

iCatSignage is equipped with an integrated reporting module for tracking display network performance. It provides instant access to signage player activity history and proof-of-play. All reports are downloadable to various formats. Reports can be saved in each account for tracking purposes.

Comprehensive reporting includes “signage player uptime” duration, “proof of play” and “frequency of ad playback” across all locations and devices.
